At GYMNASTIKA Athletic Studio, dance is more than just motion—it’s a bold expression of individuality, creativity, and strength. Our dynamic dance program features Contemporary Dance, Hip-Hop, and Breakdancing, offering something for every mover at every level.

Rooted in our empowering “Can Do” philosophy, we invite dancers to explore movement through technique, improvisation, and personal expression. From the fluid storytelling of contemporary dance to the raw energy of hip-hop and the gravity-defying power of breakdancing, our classes are a celebration of rhythm, resilience, and joy.

HIP-HOP CLASS

Our Hip-Hop classes for ages 6–9, 10–13, and 14+ are energetic, fun, and creatively engaging. Each class combines the foundational elements of hip-hop with a focus on both choreography and improvisation. Students learn dynamic movement patterns, improve coordination, and build confidence as they explore their personal style. The class begins with a full-body warm-up, followed by technique-building exercises and variations of classic hip-hop moves. Improvisation is introduced to help students connect with the rhythm of the music and move freely with confidence.

Dancers also learn choreography—group dance routines designed for performance—encouraging teamwork and stage presence. Each session ends with a relaxing stretch to cool down and prevent injury. Whether your child is just starting or already loves to dance, our Hip-Hop classes offer a fun and supportive environment for all levels.

Breakdance

Our Breakdance classes for ages 5–8 and 9–12 introduce students to one of the most physically demanding and visually impressive dance styles. With its athletic movements and explosive energy, breakdancing is as much a sport as it is an art form—which is why it has earned a place in the Olympic Games program. These classes place a strong emphasis on building physical strength, endurance, and coordination.

Each session begins with a full-body warm-up and joint activation, followed by calisthenics to strengthen muscles using body weight. Students also work on flexibility and mobility through targeted stretching. The core of the class focuses on foundational breakdance moves—learning the basic elements, then gradually building variations and dynamic combinations.

Whether your child is new to dance or ready to level up, our breakdance program offers a powerful mix of discipline, creativity, and fun.

Contemporary Dance

Our Contemporary Dance classes for ages 7–10 and 11–13 explore one of the most expressive and fast-evolving styles in the dance world today. Contemporary dance blends a variety of techniques and styles, making each choreography unique and emotionally powerful. This style allows dancers to explore different characters and moods, often shifting with the music—even within a single performance.

Each class begins with a full-body warm-up and joint activation, followed by calisthenics to build strength and stamina using body weight. Stretching exercises help improve flexibility and mobility, preparing students for more fluid and expressive movement.

The heart of the class is focused on choreography, where dancers learn to connect movement with music, memorize sequences, and express emotion through dance.

Our contemporary program encourages creativity, musicality, and confidence, providing young dancers with a strong technical base and artistic freedom.
