About

Athletic Studio GYMNASTIKA was created for a purpose – to teach American children to overcome the old and new pressures and pains of growing up.

ABOUT
GYMNASTIKA

Challenged by peers, bad eating habits, erratic sleep patterns, lack of mobility and Covid pandemic, the young are facing forces seemingly beyond their own and even parental ability to cope with. That perception is false.

GYMNASTIKA is branded as an ‘athletic studio’ but it is only a part of what we do. We have the right methods and skills to train the physical body and change our student’s ABC’s – overall Attitudes-Body-Conduct.

ABC
Approach

The ABC approach was developed by Galyna Gorbis, the founder of GYMNASTIKA designed to build resilience and flexibility in the Body-Mind complex. In over two decades, it was successfully applied by hundreds of youngsters to overcome fears, improve self-image, fight anorexic or bulimic tendencies, gaming and iPhone dependencies, and even asocial behaviors.

Our work does not end at the Studio as we partner with parents and assign individual home-practice work for the family to monitor and encourage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Certain clubs provide rhythmic gymnastics and gymnastics mommy-and-toddler classes for children as young as 1-year-old! However, the right time to begin truly depends on the child. When a child starts comprehending instructions, they can get started. We typically begin offering classes for toddlers aged 3 or older.

Our introductory program for young beginners starts at $150 per month for one weekly class. The pricing is determined by your child’s age and the total monthly training hours.

No need to worry. We provide makeup classes. Please contact the office to arrange a makeup session.

Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines dance, ballet, acting, acrobatics, gymnastics, and the use of apparatuses like rope, ball, clubs, ribbons, and hoops. Gymnasts perform choreographed routines set to music, emphasizing grace, flexibility, and coordination. It’s judged on technique, artistry, execution, and difficulty. Competitions include both individual and group events.

Rhythmic gymnastics is generally regarded as a safe sport, with typical injuries being limited to minor issues like scratches, blisters, or bumps. In comparison to other sports, the likelihood of sustaining severe injuries or bone fractures is statistically quite low. To further reduce the risk, it’s advisable to train under the supervision of qualified instructors in a designated practice area.

At our facility, our foremost commitment is to create a secure training environment and facilitate valuable one-on-one interaction between our athletes and coaches. To uphold these core principles, we have made the deliberate decision to maintain smaller group sizes in our classes, typically capped at no more than 10 athletes. This allows us to focus on the individual needs and progress of each participant, ensuring they receive the guidance, support, and personalized attention necessary to excel in their training journey. By keeping our group classes intimate and manageable, we aim to maximize the quality of coaching and the overall safety of our athletes, fostering a conducive and enriching learning experience.
